The SB203 is made from cornstarch material. Due to use as a biofuel, cornstarch has jumped in price. Cornstarch is getting expensive and not competitive. The new GC range of bags is made from bioplastics. Whatever bag, they all carry the internationally recognised composting certificate EN13432

A life without a plastic shopping bag? Nobody will believe that! Go to any supermarket and you'll be burried in these bags. Fully biodegradable. The degraded parts are compostable. Note that fully degrading can take several composting cycles longer than for kitchen waste and other green vegetable materials. Lead time for fully breaking down can take up to a couple of years, depending thickness and constitution of the product involved.
