Please note, that some products are made of a different material than cornstarch. For example grass/sugarcane/palm fibre products are introduced, as they are better heat resistant. New developments offer now a range of biodegradable plastics. Whatever product, ALL of them are free of chemicals and will degrade to biomass and harmless compostable residues.
Thickness and toughness of some items take considerably longer than 6 months for biodegrading.
